Carl Frierich Heinzmann was a pupil of the court painter Seele in Stuttgart and of Kobell at the Munich Academy. In 1822 he became a painter at the porcelain works in Munich, where he made a large vase which was presented by the Crown Prince Maximillian to the Sultan. He also produced lithographs.
