Painter of landscapes and waterscapes.

René Charles Edmond His was a pupil of Jules Lefebvre, Tony-Robert-Fleury and Henri Biva. He painted mostly landscapes of bodies of water, ponds and rivers and views of Provence and Algeria.

He regularly exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, recieving honourable mentions in 1898 and again in 1900 with a third class medal when he became a member on the occasion of the Exposition Universelle.
