Painter of character studies, interiors, genre painting and religious subjects.

Fréderic Ringel was active in Brussels. He took part in the Ghent Triennial Exhibition in 1877, the Exhibition of the History of Belgian Art in Brussels in 1880 and the Artistic Circle Exhibition in Brussels in 1882.

His “Bible Reading” and “The Final Touch” were highly acclaimed in the press of his era: “A good many qualities – robust colours without being too heavy”.
