Painter of mythological scenes, landscapes and town views.

From 1898 till 1901, Karel Jongelinghs participated at the preparatory contest for the Prix de Rome.

In the 1930’s and 1940’s, he was still registered in Antwerp.

Jongelinghs had a predilection for animated urban panoramas and landscapes.
