Painter of landscpaes and town views.

Emmanuel Vierin attended lectures at the Art School of his birth-place and then at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp under Joseph Coosemans. He began his career as an artist around 1895. He specialised in urban sites and convents. He was principal of the Kortrijk Academy.

Whilst the very attractive paintings from his easel portray the charm of the old Flemish towns particularly Bruges, Vierin also realised with real talent a number of decorative paintings in which composite landscapes of the Flemish coastline unfold in broad panels or long friezes.
