Georges Frédéric was the son and the pupil of Léon Frédéric. He got his training at the Academies of Schaerbeek and Brussels (1919-1924). He was also a pupil of Henri Privat-Livemont, Herman Richir and Jean Delville.

Georges Frédéric had a slightly synthetic style.

He decorated several ships ensuring the connection Ostend-Dover.
