André Vermeulen lived and worked in Breda from 1850 till 1882 and in Teteringen until 1883, before moving to Nieuw-Vossemeer. He collaborated with A.G. Apol Jr.
He exhibited his works in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague from 1850 till 1880.
