Painter of landscapes, portraits and genre scenes; draughtsman and illustrator.

Jean Beauduin was a pupil at the Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts. He later settled in Paris, where he contributed to a number of publications, including “Le Figaro” and “La Chronique Parisienne”. He also illustrated books. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris and other salons abroad. He visited Verviers on a regular basis.
