Jules-Pierre Van Biesbroeck Jr. was a pupil of his father, Jules Van Biesbroek Sr., and the Ghent Academy. He was awarded the second Prix de Rome for painting in 1895 and 1898 and for sculpture in 1897. He was responsible for the monument of Jean Volders in the Brussels Cemetery and those of Laurent and Van Beveren in Ghent.

Jules-Pierre Van Biesbroeck took part, with great success, in numerous exhibitions in Belgium and abroad.
