Painter of genre scenes and portraits. Orientalist.
Sandór Alexander Svoboda was born in Bagdad in 1826 and also deceased there in 1896.
He studied under Barabas in Budapest and later on in Venice. In 1845 and 1847 he exhibited in Budapest.
His works are painted with meticulous details in a lovely harmony of colours.
