Painter of interiors and still lifes; lithographer, painter of pastels and engraver.

David De Noter exhibited in Brussels, Courtrai and London. He was awarded numerous medals. In 1864 he lived in Paris with Goupil and in 1867 in Vésinet. He participated at the Paris Salons of 1855 and 1864. He also travelled to North Africa (Algeria).
