Intimist, realist and post-impressionist painter and watercolourist of portraits, genre scenes, landscapes, still lifes, nudes and interiors; watercolourist.

Georges Van Zevenberghen often worked with clair obscur-effects. He was a pupil of the Molenbeek School of Drawing and the Brussels Academy, where he became a teacher himself. He also attended Jan Stobbaerts’ studio. He exhibited at the Brussels Triennale.
He was a member of Labeur, Pour l’Art and the Royal Belgian Academy.
