Louise Voordecker was born in the first half of the 19th century.  She was the daughter of the painter Henri Voordecker and the sister of François Voordecker.
She taught painting at the Court of Leopold I.

Voordecker was a very skilled painter, who has executed strong compositions. Art collectors hold her in high esteem.
