Painter of landscapes, town views and still lifes with flowers.

Julien Stappers studied in Antwerp at the Academy of Fine Arts under De Vriendt (1894-1899) and at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts (1899-1901). He made his debut in 1903. He worked in Brussels from 1900 until his death in 1960. He exhibited in Spa in 1914, at the Rubens Gallery in Brussels in 1959 and 1960 and at the Jordaens Gallery in Ghent in 1957, 1959 and 1960.

Stappers had a very bright and sunny palette. His painting shows great dexterity.
