Painter of portraits, landscapes, still lifes and animals.

Eugène Joors was a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp under the direction of Polydore Beaufaux, Nicaise De Keyser and Joseph Van Lerius. He collaborated at the Verlat Panorama (Battle of Waterloo). He exhibited in Antwerp, Brussels, Munich, Bremen, Stuttgart, Paris and Berlin. He later became a teacher at the Antwerp Academy.

Joors was a remarkable colourist.
