Fritz Beinke was a pupil of Andreas and Karl Müller, Karl and Wilhelm Sohn and Eduard Julius Friedrich Bendemann at the Düsseldorf Academy, from 1859 to 1867. After staying in Italy and Germany, he returned to settle in his native city.

He won an award in Cologne in 1871 for his painting “Evening Prayer, Black Forest” and another in Düsseldorf in 1902 for “A Farm”.
