Painter, draughtsman, poet and illustrator.

Edouard Georges Eugène Déverin was the brother of the painter Roger Déverin. He took part in the Salon des Humoristes in 1914 and 1923. He is often confused with the caricaturist Mayor Edouard Déverin. As a caricaturist himself, he collaborated on “l’Œuvre” and “Music Hall Illustrated”. He was also a poet and illustrated his published work under the titel “Strolling” in 1911.

His drawings are executed with rapid, nervious pencil strokes.
