Gustav Seyfferth attended the Academy of Weimar, Germany, from 1868 on.
He was active in Rome from 1875 till 1876.
His works “Römisches Papstfest”, “Herbst”, “Siesta am Meer”, “Wandernde Zigeuner im Schnee” and “Studienkopf” are in the collection of the Landesbildergallerie in Graz.
