Albert Roosenboom was a pupil of the realist painter and sculptor Constantin Meunier.
From 1869 on he exhibited in Brussels, in 1871 in Ghent and in 1874 in London. He exhibited a painting, titeld “Un coup d’oeil dans l’avenir” [” A Look Into The Future”], at the XXVIIIe Exposition Nationale et Triennale de Gand [XXVIIIth National and Triennial Ghent Exhibition] held in 1871 in the Ghent Casino (number 1097 in the catalogue).
Roosenboom had a predilection for depictions of domestic life and (female) figures in an interior.
