Painter of landscapes of Brabant and the Ardennes, still lives and, most of all, portraits; illustrator of books and designer of bank notes and stamps. Realist.

Luc De Cecker was a pupil of the Brussels Academy (1929-1931) under the direction of Bastien and Delville and of the NHISKA under Opsomer. He has painted, among others, two portraits of the late King Baudoin of Belgium. He was also an ilustrator of books and a designer of bank notes and stamps.

Retrospective in the Schaarbeek Town Hall in 2002. Works acquired by the Belgian government, the Brussels Museum of the Dynasty and the Antwerp AMVC.
