Painter of genre scenes and portraits.
After finishing law school, Pomey studied under Charles Gleyre. He also worked with Charles Vallet and Timoléon Lobrichon and finally in Florent Willems’ studio. From 1867 till 1900, he exhibited at the Paris Salon and at the ‘Salon des Artistes Français’. He was awarded a medal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle.
