Painter of genre scenes, landscapes and murals.

Henri Emile Vollet was a pupil of Fernand Cormon. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, becoming a member in 1889. He received an honourable mention in 1888 and won a third class medal in 1891, a second class medal in 1897 and a bronze medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle. He was made Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur in 1904.

His landscapes, liberated from academism, depict views of Corsica and Indochina, where he lived for several years. He also produced murals.
